Drew Pettifer

Drew Pettifer is a Melbourne-based artist working primarily in installation and photography. His practice explores themes of intimacy, sexuality, voyeurism and objectification. Pettifer’s confessional style has been described as evoking “a well-known photographic tradition, spanning legendary photographer Nan Goldin, through to contemporary artists such as New York-based Ryan McGinley” (Jeff Khan, 2004).
