Linsey Gosper
Linsey Gosper’s photographic practice presents the fusion of documentary and artifice. Her subjects playfully perform for the camera, depicting fluid ideals of identity, gender and sexuality. Her images are a celebration of the creation and performance of ones own identity, as a personal remedy for overcoming the social and political constructions surrounding the body, and of the medium photography itself. Linsey has just completed a Master of Fine Art by research at the Victorian College of the Arts, for which she was awarded an Australian Postgraduate Award. She exhibits frequently in artist run spaces and commercial galleries nationally.
