Natasha Cantwell

Natasha Cantwell’s photographs of her surroundings offer various levels of construction but even her most observational images are still considered and self-aware. A dedicated analogue photographer, aware of the demise of traditional practice, her current work is occupied with ideas of preservation and decay. Cantwell has exhibited extensively in New Zealand as well as showing in Australia, England and the U.S.A. She contributes regularly to magazines such as Frankie and No and holds a Bachelor of Graphic Design (Photography) from Auckland University of Technology.
