Noel Rodo-Vankeulen
Noel Rodo-Vankeulen’s work is rests somewhere between mythic phenomena and alien foreboding. His arrangement of seemingly random minimalist imagery, be they portraits, still-lifes, or landscapes, point toward a larger set of connections in constant flux. While concrete meaning is often eluded and photographic narrative is deliberately masked, the empirical and the ephemeral are laid out for a vast framework of juxtapositions. Noel holds an OCC from Sheridan collage and is currently pursuing a BFA degree at York University in Toronto, Canada. His work has been included in numerous exhibitions and publications, and resides in many private collections.
